The vision of the JAR is as follows:
“ensuring that all refugees who flee to Japan seeking help will be saved and settle down in the new land with hope, and to build a society where we can live together with refugees.”

Global and Local Recognition
Though the JAR is not globally recognized, it is still regarded as credible (The UNHCR has published the link to JAR on their website).
They are also approved by the government of Tokyo as a verified NPO.

Annual Report
Some basic data show that the JAR helped 62 people to be accommodated in Japan, and that 84% of the refugees who attend the preparation Japanese program were able to apply and enter a job. The article also includes research and data about refugees in Japan and how the organization helps with counseling specific assistance.
